Wow! One of your best articles yet. It made good points, flowed nicely, and included some humorous quotes and personal reflections (which are your trademarks). The writing was lovely as well. I learned a new word, numinous, as well as a new use of the word efflorescence (which I normally associate with the cinder blocks in our crawl space).
